GET TO KNOW THE WALDORF METHOD

THE FIRST SEVEN YEARS: “THE WORLD IS GOOD”

In the first seven years of life, to educate is to allow children to exercise their five senses. Thus, our educational activities are designed to meet sensory development. The senses are the body's windows to the world and allow us to understand the world of nature and other people.

Thinking is gradually cultivated, from imagination fostered through tales, legends, and myths - at the beginning of schooling - to high school to abstract scientific thinking, with solid foundations for productive criticism and judgment.

All classes are intended to be a preparation for real life. The idea is to develop over the years at school the qualities necessary for children to know how to cope and especially flourish in this world of constant and fast changes, with creativity, flexibility, responsibility and confidence in their ability to transform the reality in which they live.

The experience of beauty is related to morality; Through it, the moral foundations are laid - the feeling of brotherhood toward one's fellow men and reverence for the mysteries of life and nature.

THE NEXT SEVEN YEARS: “THE WORLD IS BEAUTIFUL”

In the next seven years, we provide basic school education. It is at this stage that the affective relationship with humanity develops the world. It is the time when the capacity for love develops in its broadest sense and when feelings are consolidating.

Therefore, artistic activities are very important: painting, modeling, theater, drawing, music, crafts, music, reciting, and sculptures.

Everything that is said and done must be beautiful. Children must be able to experience: "the world is beautiful".

The experience of beauty is related to morality; Through it, the moral foundations are laid - the feeling of brotherhood toward one's fellow men and reverence for the mysteries of life and nature.
